Chiropractic Group Visits

Benefits of having on-site chiropractic care

  • Convenience: On-site care eliminates the need for individuals to take time off work to visit a chiropractor, which can save them time and money.
  • Cost-effective: Group visits are typically more affordable than individual visits, making it easier for employees to access care.
  • Improved productivity: By addressing pain and discomfort, chiropractic care can help patients feel better and be more productive on the job and at home.
  • Increased morale: When employees feel better, they tend to be happier and more satisfied in their work, which can lead to increased morale among the team.
  • Proactive care: On-site visits allow participants to receive care before they have a problem, which can help prevent injuries and illness.
  • Wellness and postural education: On-site visits provide an opportunity to learn more about self-care techniques and movement patterns, which can help them maintain health and well-being.
  • Relaxed atmosphere: By receiving care in a comfortable, familiar, and convenient manner, patients enjoy their encounters.

On site visits take place nearly everywhere.

Go Chiro Mobile has conducted on-site visits at various locations including:

  • Homes
  • Office buildings
  • Warehouses
  • Workshops
  • Auto body centers
  • Concert venues
  • Worksites
  • Firestations
  • and more.

Group visits are defined as three or more individuals receiving care at the same location and time block.

All that is needed is a private area with access to electricity with room for a treatment table. Depending on the provided space, treatment is performed either in private or in what is called an "open adjusting” environment. which may feature several patients being treated in the same area.  Patients may be within sight of one another and some ongoing routine details of care may be discussed within earshot of other individuals. Each participant may be asked to sign an authorization regarding chiropractic care being provided in an “open adjusting” environment if a common area is used.

The initial examination and discussion of the patient's history and findings will need to be done privately either in an isolated room or away from others in a common area.

Many workplaces prefer a rotation of patients so as to not disrupt business activities while families tend to opt for everyone to be seen together.  Group visits have tremendous flexibility to accommodate the needs of everyone involved.

Group visit limitations

Group visits are intended to introduce chiropractic care, identify and treat minor to moderate musculoskeletal dysfunctions and educate participants as to strategies to work, move and feel better.  On-site group visits are not intended to:

  1. Treat work-related injuries
  2. Treat complaints related to an accident
  3. Treat or evaluate serious medical conditions
  4. Provide any extended treatment beyond chiropractic manipulation or soft tissue mobilization.

Should any part of the history and examination process reveal or suggest that an extended evaluation, comprehensive treatment or the ordering of tests is warranted, the individual will be referred to another provider and/ or recommended to make a private appointment with Dr. DeFries.

How to book a group visit

Arranging a chiropractic location visit is simple. First, ensure that the location of the visit is within Delaware County, Pennsylvania, or Northern New Castle County, Delaware. Special exceptions may be made for locations outside of these regions, however, care cannot be provided in New Jersey. Next, determine the number of people who will be participating. Assign one person as the main contact and have them fill out the request for group visit form, which can be found by clicking the RESOURCES tab on this page. Dr. DeFries will then contact the designated point person to confirm the visit. After confirmation, participants must complete the online intake form found under the RESOURCES tab before the visit. Business owners, management, or employers can also require a WAIVER OF RESPONSIBILITY under the RESOURCES tab if desired. All registered participants will receive a welcome email before the event. Payment is expected at the time of service unless other arrangements are made beforehand.
