Self Pay Patients

Break the insurance chains!

Due to the high administration cost of processing claims through a third party, patients who elect to pay for care directly are eligible for an administrative discount. These fees are only applicable for services in which payment is received on the date the service is provided and who have agreed to the terms of the program.

After an examination is performed and if it is determined that treatment is warranted, a treatment plan with associated costs will be presented.

The reduced administrative discount ( RAD) cannot be combined with any other offers or applied to insurance deductibles or co-pays. Payment must be received on the day the service was performed and in the form of cash, check or credit card. Any part or portion of services rendered which are not paid for in full on the day of service will not be eligible for the RAD fee and the full charge will apply. In order to provide the best service this office prefers to see patients by appointment and excessive missed appointments will void this agreement at the doctors discretion. The doctor reserves the right to change the fees associated with this program at any given time with proper notice. If a patient currently has healthcare insurance they must refuse to authorize Dr. David DeFries D.C. to file claims with their insurance company, which includes medicare, and agree that in no future time will they request that this office submit a claim to a third party for services performed under this agreement.

Once a patient is out of acute care or once treatment is no longer expected to improve their condition, the Chiro Co-Op maintenance plan is available to anyone in the  RAD program. Chiro Co-Op is a membership program created to enable patients to maintain their musculoskeletal health through regular treatments and periodic check ups. Chiro Co-Op is not insurance and not meant to replace active care for acute or chronic conditions but instead is centered on reducing the incidents of acute conditions and chronic flare-ups which often are debilitating and expensive.
